today its heat and humidity added to another miserable day all across the measure region. we begin with the dangerously high temperatures. >> we are live on the national mall. rescue crews have been responding to heat related illnesses all day long. >> it is for loudon county, a severe thunderstorm warning in effect a for a good 30 minutes or so. hail could be in the size of half dollars. a number of storms there. there are a few more popping up even though it is late in the day. there are a number of other

we will make it. we have some storms out there to talk about. severe thunderstorm warnings. those areas in purple, clark county, warren county, from this particular line of storms, it is drifting east. it will cross the potomac river. the core of this system is well to the north of pennsylvania. we have our own little cluster here. those are still firing up and able moved east-northeast as well. the main thread with these is torrential rain and large hail. here are the other areas out through pennsylvania and new york. tomorrow, our chances of storms will increase and temperatures will come down a bit.
